Glenloch Cloud

Glenloch Cloud is a solid white Huacaya Alpaca out of Somerset Peruvian Snow Dream by Somerset Peruvian Europa.

Cloud was purchased at Russell and Carolyn Nelson's Auction in October 2005. She is an extraordinarily pretty, solid boned girl with good coverage. We were really fortunate to get her at the price we did, as Russell stated he had not recouped his original purchase price on the sale and she was originally one of Glenloch Alpaca Stud's top females. She and her daughter Aotearoa Dances With Clouds are currently the two prettiest alpacas in our herd. On the banner above Aotearoa Dances with Clouds is the bright white alpaca on the left and her Dam Glenloch Cloud is the bright white alpaca on the right. Both are easy to pick out of the paddock due to their bright white fleece, good conformation and their lovely faces. We have also used Cloud as the image on our business card.

Cloud, like her daughter has been put to Banksia Park Samuri ET and we expect very special things from this mating, with Cloud's conformation and beauty and Samuri's traits, we can only expect a very lovely cria. Cloud and Samuri's daughter appeared on the 4th January, her picture is below, she is a lovely solid white fawn huacaya. Cloud is not particularly fine so we need to introduce some fineness with our choice of covering males. Her two cria however have both been fine with Hadstock NZ Lady Jessica, who was also sold at the auction being 18.49 Micron at just under one year old and Aotearoa Dances With Clouds being 19.65 micron at just over 1 year of age.

Cloud's stature, bright white fleece and stand out beauty is being passed onto her cria.
